Sabastien Shaw is this first single from Wildelux’s forthcoming project, The Lost Gem Collection. Xeos brings out the dusty horns for this production and Wildelux proves to be the model of consistency with tight lines and a nice flow. Filmed in Osaka, Japan if you were wondering.
The Audible Doctor – Wings Part 2 (ft. Francesca) (Video)
The Audible Doctor dropping some visuals from his studio in the sky! With no back up plans if this hip hop thing fails, the good Doctor goes for delf with his latest video single, Wings Part 2. The cut hails from his last EP, The Summer Tape. His rhyme skills are under appreciated if you ask me.
Single You Out: Revalation – We On Now (ft. Nick Swann, T.Real, Arewhy & S.O.N.)
Revalation delivers and EMS brick to the face with his latest single from his Featured Presentation project dropping on November 19th. Explizit One lays claim to this next snapping beat, while Nick Swann, T. Real, Arewhy, and S.O.N. all take turns with their sixteen shots. Really nice posse cut.
Single You Out: Caesar Sanchez – Reasons (prod.by Wrathmatics)
What a great day for hearing some new music! This track right here from Caesar Sanchez and Wrathmatics is simply beautiful and fits right into our niche blog (niche b/c we don’t everything and everything that gets emailed to us). The production just moves you. It’s captivating right from the jump. And Caesar Sanchez doesn’t just rhymes, he drops well crafted verses that have everything from punchlines to double meanings. It’s really quite clever and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys. Please share this with your people!
There is an EP in the works called New Shoes but there is no said drop date for that yet.
MarQ Spekt & Blockhead – Breakfast Club (ft. Philly LoLife AllStars) (Video)
Good gawd, man! Now this is one ill posse cut. Blockhead KILLED it with his instrumentation on this. I love the flutes and riffs over the snapping drums. He gives this track a lot of character. And while I may not be familiar with the members of the Philly LoLife AllStars, they along with MarQ Spekt really came at the track with some serious bars. This track has alot of personality. The video was also done exceptionally well.
The track is to be featured on MarQ Spekt and Blockhead’s collaborative project, JustPlayWitit.
Single You Out: Solo For Dolo – Miracle Whip (produced by : Don Producci)
One of New Jersey’s finest, Solo For Dolo, is back at it again over some sublime and soulful Don Producci production. Hopefully this song is a pretext for more music to come.
Single You Out: SciFi Stu – Love and War (ft. Sleep Sinatra, Smoovth, Chinch 33)
I said it before and I will say it again: I am always down for some Scifi Stu production. On Love And War, Stu gets those piano keys moving while Sleep Sinatra and Smoovth (Tha Connection) brought the streets to the track. Chinch 33 on the cuts…making it extra saucy for the masses.
N.B.S. – Til’ The World Ends (ft. Reks) (produced by Alkota) (Video)
N.B.S. takes it from the salon back into the streets and then proceeds to sever heads over a hard Alkota produced rhythm, with an assist from R-E-K-S. This joint will instantly be added to my rotation. It just knocks. I just copped their new album, The Smokefest, earlier today. I haven’t listened to it yet, but there’s no doubt that the albums going to be filled with bangers.
Single You Out: Alpha Faktion – Move Back (prod. by Alterbeats)
It’s certified boom bap in every sense of the word. Alterbeats bodies this production and Alpha Faktion continues to show and prove with a high level of skill, personality, and chemistry. Artists like Alterbeats and Alpha Faktion seemingly click perfect to bring you the very essence of hip hop. This my friends is what his hop should sound like! Make sure you check out the Alpha Faktion’s EP from earlier this year, Truth, Lies, & Audiotape. That’s certified as well.
