The team out of Jamaica, The Council, links up with Tha God Fahim for a dark banger off of their forthcoming album, Nothing Else Matters. These guys have some serious lyricism that has a lot of depth to it. There’s nothing superficial about it.
Singles, Albums, EPs, Mixtapes, and Videos that get the HHD thumbs up.

Here’s a single from DJ Rybe’s recently released album, Channel Zero. Power Bars features Planet Asia and Agallah on the mic ripping up a production from Rybe that features heavy synth and a sort of shrouded mystique.
The album is really dope and something you really need to check! It goes heavy!
Man, just looking at the combination of Ruste Juxx and Nutso over a beat from Lowcut and Nix’on on the cuts, I knew this joint was going to go hard and it didn’t disappoint one iota. You want a joint to get hype to? This is the one! Hard beat and hard rhymes.
Apparently Low Cut has got a new album dropping on March 17th entitled, Dead End. You know that’s going to have some fire!
Nobody is setting this party off like Ren Thomas off his new track, Lifted Up, featuring fellow emcee Tab. It’s all about the good times and relaxing on this joint but let me tell you that this track is just the tip of the iceberg, because his album, I Been Nice, is a BEAST PROJECT. There are so many good songs on that album, that is a must have for 2017. Check it!
Styliztik Jones just dropped his album, A Thousand Words, and it really is a work of art. Instead of making a great hip hop album, Jones, really just made a great ALBUM period that transcends all genre. It’s musically graceful and interesting, while the lyricism is engaging and interesting. Check out the video for Pangea for a small taste in what the album has to offer.
Ullnevano is one of those emcees whom I believe does not get the credit he is due. A few years ago he dropped a project with Logic Marselis that just oozed with dopeness, entitled The Protocol. Now he is back with a new project accompanied by the production of Illen Rosewell that again rises to the talent level of our emcee. Rosewell does a sensational job utilizing samples and dropping some soul into the music. I strongly suggest you check the project! For now…check the last cut from the EP, 12’s over the wire.
I was just thinking about Mr. Live the other day. I was wondering if he was going to release any more music. This must be good karma because now I have a new single from Git Beats and Live as the group SuKaFre, Can’t Take It NO More.
Git Beats uses a mellow piano driven track to allow Mr. Live to decompress over the microphone. Live has that trademark voice and flow that is unmistakeable over the course of a couple of decades.
They have a new project in the works that has no said date, but we will have that information to you when it become available.
OnlyOne rips a scathing social commentary over a six minute production from Smoke M2D6. Most of the lyricism deals with the police and their brutality in the Black Community. It’s an interesting take from a person outside the racial context but he hits everything like hammer to nail. He also does it with the typical flair that Only has become known for.
Venomous2000 and Trilian just released a new album entitled The Great Ones, and let me tell you…it’s impressive! This is easily my favorite project from Venomous. His style over Trillion’s production seems so seamless. Enjoy this track!
Sometimes music just has to be a vehicle for our emotions and that’s what we have here from Revalation. This was song was admittedly one of the hardest for Rev to write as he reflected upon his cousin’s recent violent death. It’s passionate and personal and if you can’t feel this then you are just plain numb.
