Frank B. – Brooklyn Vs. All (ft. Rock) (Video)

I am late to the game with this track…very late….but I am STILL going to push it because this guy has had a song that I have listened to for years without really knowing who flipped the rhymes.  The Frank B. track was off of Shuko’s The Foundation, and called What Happened?  I listen to this track HEAVY still to this day.

And it seems like he is still bringing this type of heat to this day and will drop his WAY OVERDUE album, Let Me B Frank.  That’s due out soon…I hope.   This track features Rock and is bound to turn some heads.

Pull The The Fuckin’ Trigger – Until Its My Time To Die (prod. by Sutter Kain) (Video)

Well…well…well…DJ Bless and the team are back it again and delivering nothing but music to murk to.  This joint is more than just a little vicious.   It’s really hard to put into words a description of the production, other than it’s intense.  And that fits Donnie Darko and Appollo Valdez’s styles just fine.  It’s aggressive and a ‘take no shorts’ approach to music and I expect nothing less from this camp.

Self Titled album drops on January 15th.  You have been warned!

Single You Out: Skillz – Murda Gram

Haha.  Skillz took exception to a shot fired on Uncle Murda’s 2017 Wrap Up song and this is what happened.   It’s pretty amazing,  that Skillz doesn’t even really drop music anymore, but was able to come out and assassinate a man in a couple day’s time.

Listening to this should remind hip hop fans of two things…1) Skillz is STILL a remarkable lyricist.  2) Don’t poke a sleeping lion, cuz they are listening.

Single You Out: Supreme Cerebral – War Ready (prod. by Pete Twist)

Well this is described in the Soundcloud description as a loosie.   Let me tell you…if THIS is just a random track, then 2018 is going to be a GREAT year for Supreme Cerebral.   This track is straight Berkowitz!  Pete Twist designs something subdued, yet powerful, and Cerebral’s flow is intoxicating eardrums.  It’s got phenomenal flow.  Great start for the year.   And until the new project drops…I am going back and checking out last year’s Kings Throne…ya dig?

Single You Out: Pete Sayke x Longevity – Hole In My Pocket (ft. Selina Carrera)

Every once in a while you hear an album that makes you want to shout from on high about how good it is and here my friends is such an album.

Pete Sayke and Logevity’s new joint, Heaven Can Wait is a soulful, clever, and engaging release. My favorite track features songstress Selina Carrera and a real smooth flavor that I can listen to over and over again. I hope to be able to feature more music from the album, if not do a full review in the near future.

Single You Out: I.N.F. – Bad Blood (ft. Coal Cash x Taboo)

This track just goes! The sample that is used for this song is nothing short of brilliant. It turns out that it was a song used off of The Walking Dead by Allison Mosshart and flipped to perfection by producer Edd Bundy. And then you’ve got guest bars from Coal Cash and Taboo. Ill bars. Ill production. And that can be said for the entirety of I.N.F.’s most recent album, Bourbon Barrel Bordello.

Single You Out: Godilla – Sheep (ft. Mister Voodoo)

It can be said that another mainstay on Hip Hop Dependency is the emcee, Godilla. He always pumps out a premium product with solid rhymes and a keen ear for beats. He also has an uncanny tendency to link up with some ill emcees. On the track, Sheep, you have him connecting with Natural Elements’ emcee, Mister Voodoo aka AGU.

The production is ill with snapping drums, coupled with a piano, and spaced out rhythms. The lyricism is impeccable.

This track is found on Godilla’s newly released EP, Cerveza, which is a collection of loosies. But let me tell you, everyone of these tracks goes hard and you will not be diasspointed.
