Single You Out: RJ Payne – Bloodshed and Carnage (ft. Apathy)

RJ Payne is one of the most dangerous emcees in the game with regards to his bar work…by himself. And you add, Apathy to the track? Well you can just add to the devastation. You can hear all the lyrical carnage inflicted on Bloodshed and Carnage. Asethic on the beat!

That’s kind of mean maybe / But this rhyme scheme crazy / These bullets put bitches to sleep, that’s dramamine baby

Single You Out: Supreme Cerebral – Build Or Destroy (ft. Alphabetic)

A new single from Supreme Cerebral produced by The Architect and with guest bars from Alphabetic. The production is subdued and presents a laid back canvas for the emcees for the emcees to Build Or Destroy.

This is cloth made by angel wings / I’m nice with words from A to Z / Amazingly I’m flavory / Yet wicked as some slavery / It pays to be pervasively aware / Over drum and snare…

Ransom, Conway The Machine, & V Don – Nefarious (Video)

This is quite the memorable track from Chaos Is My Ladder 2 and the video really does do this justice. Nefarious is a conversation that Ransom has with Lucifer. V Don gives this track a minimalist yet haunting feel, while Ransom handles the questions and the answers from both parties in an incredible lyrical fashion. If the devil made himself present to you, how would the conversation go?

This is lyrical genius. And the video is probably one of the best this year. The effects were so well done and the actor who portrayed Lucifer was sinisterly on point.

Gives me chills.

Single You Out: Harmoni Eqaulity – Evolution (ft. Johnny Storm x IAMGAWD x Aida)

My last post for this past week will be a single from the project, Harmoni Equality presents The 17th Cipher. This project just shot up on my radar on Friday when it dropped so it was a pleasant surprise. I haven’t listened to the whole thing but I gave some tracks some play, and will definitely be copping as everything I heard was dope. I am using the track, Evolution, featuring Johnny Storm, IAMGAWD, and Aida to showcase what you can expect to find on this project. The production from Cas1 has a very ethereal quality and the pen game of these emcees is incredibly sharp. IAMGAWD in particular is an artist whose blade always swings sharp with bars like:

Reeking havoc, smelling chaos in my pheromones / Belligerent baritone / Welcome to the Terror Dome / You neglect to protect your neck until your head is flown / My shit is vintage like Door Knockers and Herringbones

Single You Out: Revalation x MKDel x Lateb – Lunar Stroll (prod. by C.G. The Producer)

Now this a treasure for your ears! Revalation, MKDel, and Lateb unravel their thoughts as though they were walking on the moon. This is joint is cerebral and thought provoking as emcees, MKDel and Revalation take us on journey through struggle, loss, searching, acceptance, and hope. C.G. The Producer, creates this beautiful soundscape for all of this soul searching to take place, and Lateb puts the finishing touches by laying a powerful and soulful chorus. All of the above make this song incredibly memorable with maximum replay value, so take the journey my friends!

Single You Out: Stu Bangas & A-F-R-O – From Dusk Till Dawn (ft. Lil Dee)

Stu Bangas and A-F-R-O are bringing the horror this Halloween with their album dropping on the 31st, The Bad and The Ugly (which you can pre-order here), and you can hear the first score from the project in the single, From Dusk Til Dawn. Stu Bangas creates that cinematic climax with that haunting beat and precise scratches, while Lil Dee and A-F-R-O stalk with some wicked sixteens. Definitely excited about this project!

Starvin B – Wo Hop (prod. by DJ Flash) (Video)

Anything Starvin B drops is an auto-cop. I am sure I have said this before. This time he is backed on the beat and the cuts by DJ Flash. And this track, Wo Hop, is certified heat. The beat matched with Starvin B’s seemingly unstoppable flow will have this one on repeat for a while. I hope this means there’s a new project heading in my direction. I really love this track and this one bar resonated hard with me.

You can tell some / People don’t love you for you / They love you to help em’
