Here’s some dope from Wally Clark that I lifted from his latest project, Fighting Words. The Tree is an ill narration from Clark over some funky/bluesy production from L’Orange. It’s short on runtime, but long on memorability. Check it!
Singles, Albums, EPs, Mixtapes, and Videos that get the HHD thumbs up.

New joint from Gary Rue who came widdit with his latest project, Every Shrink’s Wet Dream. This new single is definitely on par with where that project left off. The production from Sultan Mir, with the vocal sample, all the way down to the chorus is really dope and downright impactful. Gary Rue and guests Aye God and G-Mo Sosa deliver a solid salvo of bars making this track a standout.

This song is ‘Holy-Shit-Type-Good! Actually, scratch that…it’s not good…it’s GREAT. One of the best tracks I have heard this year. This production is a monstrous and THESE emcees DESTROY it! A really tough joint with sensational lyricism. LR Blitzkrieg, Mr. Live, and U.G. really deliver some top notch goodness here. Give it a listen and you will for sure feel the same.
New video from Snak The Ripper, and I am really feeling this joint. Snak has a real knack for delivering and imparting relavent wisdom and advice that most people can relate to. There’s a number of songs that he has done that speak to me and Lesson Learned is no different. Always look forward to hearing new music from him.

Here’s something new from 2Ugli’s bandcamp featuring someone I hadn’t heard from in a long while, Cage. The track is produced Serbia’s own, Trillian, and he is lacing the two emcees with some deep darkness. DJ Danetic on the the cuts. I hope you guys enjoy this treat.

Apathy is back with his third single, The Order, from the forthcoming album, The Widow’s Son, which drops on March 2nd. This time he is backed with that prometheus type fire from the one and only DJ Premier. Demigodz and the gawd unite for some serious man business. It’s a great union, as Ap sounds really fluid over the legend’s production. If you aren’t looking forward to this project, then you probably aren’t welcome here.
Here’s a video single from Rawmatik’s brand new album, The States vs. Rawmatik, which just dropped today and features an assortment of dope artists. This particular single features lyricism from Cali Agents’ Rasco and Bankai Fam’s front man, Skanks. The track is a high energy joint that is bound to fire you up.
Make sure you check the album.

Here’s a new DJ Rybe produced track featuring rhymes from Code Nine and Smoovth. The resulting product is definitely some head not effect. Rybe gets the horns blowing and the emcees put in some excellent work. Not sure if this is off of an future project, but I hope you checked out Rybe’s Channel Zero from early last year., as that was some serious dope.

It’s been a while since I have heard from ArtOfficial but I had all of their previous releases and know how dope they are. The new project, Doers & Didn’ts, might be their be best music to date.
My favorite track from the project is the jump off, Back On My Sh*t. It’s a true head nodder accompanied by a thick bass line, some flute, and a jazzy chorus. The rhymes are also full of flavor. You are not going to want to miss out here.
…these slumbering giants sleep lighter than you think…
True hip hop!
Here’s some new artists I have not been up on until now, but I am really feeling this cut from the crew Troubled Empire. Each of the three emcees drops some sheer heat on this track as they attempt to guide the sheep out of the darkness….but will you notice?!
Definitely stay tuned for new music from this group. We are definitely going to want to hear more.
