More heat from Nowaah The Flood and Ca$ablanca with production courtesy of The Kurse. The emcees ride this smooth guitar laden track, but deliver a series of tough bars regardless of the tempo. Really feeling what they are bringing to hip hop these days.
Single You Out: Nomadic – Quite Like This

Who possibly isn’t going to like this joint here? Nomadic channels the Golden Era of hip and drops more than just a little gem here. He has crazy flow and lyricism and when you combine this beat which is reminiscent of Pete Rock, you have audio gold.
I can tell from listening to just half of his album, The Journey, that Nomadic is a super talented artist and someone we should be watching out for in the future. But for now, enjoy his present endeavors.
Left For Dead – Buzzard (ft. ILL Mascaras) (Video)
Left For Dead is the re-emergence of west coast emcee and artist, Capitol I-Man. Hip Hop heads are going to remember Capitol I-Man as part of the group The Mexakinz. And what we find here with this new song, Buzzard, is that even though it’s been a long time between projects, his lyricism remains sharp. It’s a party, and don’t you dare be a buzz kill.
New project, Company Head Change, is available as both physical and digital.
Pete Flux & Parental – Landmarks (Video)
This video from Pete Flux & Parental has been out for a couple of months but I had just seen it and it’s too dope for me not to present to our audience. The production is smooth while the lyrics are sharp as fuck. They are trying to build some art that’s time tested, and not trying to be a flash in the pan.
I kick the philosophy…you spit the bumper stickers….
I love that line in the chorus! Check out their latest project, Infinite Growth.
Single You Out: Jedi Mind Tricks – Certified Dope
JMT fires off the second single from their forthcoming album, The Bridge & The Abyss, dropping on June 22nd. Certified Dope has a higher paced and more funky feel than the previous single, but the same high impact.
Mark the album release on your calendar!
Sinical – Dreams (ft. Termanology) (Video)
Sinical gets to work on the mix with Termanology for this latest video single, Dreams. The production from 1st Official is on some boo-bap/slap your momma type ish. The well positioned Biggie sample take it over the top. You can hear the hunger in the bars from Sinical and Term laces his sixteen like a vet who is only getting better with time.
It looks like this artist has put together a string of dope joints so hopefully an album is going to be on it’s way.
Single You Out: The P Brothers – Saltfish (ft. Daniel Son)

The P Brothers just dropped their EP entitled Mentaltainment, and what better way to put people onto the project than sharing the song with featuring one of the sickest emcees in the business, Daniel Son.
This song is the sure shot. No mistake about it.
Slaine – Source Of Power (Video)
Slaine delivers the video single for the Leedz Edutainment project, Eastern Standard. We are all looking for a source of power, and Slaine takes us through a multitude of options all of which are internal, and not the illusory visions of power that are forced upon us.
Aesop Rock – Klutz (Video)
Aesop Rock is unlike any other artist. His rhyme schemes are unusual. His wordplay is unorthodox. And by his own admission, the song Klutz, is some stream of thought rhyming without structure, which consequently displays itself in the form of pure genius. You could rewind this track back 100x over and still pick up a line’s meaning that you missed before.
Single You Out: ethemadassassin – Mercalli (prod. by Quake Mobb)

ethemaddassassin links up with production team Quake Mobb for this heavy banger. There is something symphonic and powerful about this cut. It can be found off of the forthcoming collaborative project, Bear Handz Pt. 1: Magmatic, which is set to drop next Friday, May 25th.
