I featured the single a couple of weeks ago and now I present the video. Eff Yoo has got some dope flows and considerable wordplay. Enjoy this…
Artist Spotlight: Serge Severe (2012)
Usually when I hear an artist for the first time I am rarely left with an impression. I would say less than 20% of artist submissions wind up on HHD nonetheless stay in constant rotation in my iTunes folder. Serge Severe does both…constantly.
Serge Severe is the epitome of consistency when it comes to not only bringing quality rhymes, but also quality music. He has come out with project after project of dope material yet I feel not enough people know about this man’s talent.
He agreed to answer some questions for this feature and I hope you take the time to read it and peep his music. The man is a great talent…
Single You Out: Rome Clientel – Troubled Child (Prod. by ATG)
Rome Clientel dropping another dope joint that will not be appearing on his yet to be released, The Empire: The Battlegrounds EP. Rome’s been dropping quite a bit of heat this year so be on the lookout for his music. (I will go on record to say that the kiddo on this artwork is maaaad creepy)

Single You Out: M.A. Cee Kings – This Is Hip Hop
This site was created because of artists like M.A. Cee Kings. I had never heard of him previous to his initial contact with me last week, but his music speaks for itself. I heard about five joints from him and every single one of the tracks was nice. He has a great flow and is one of those artists you just have to believe is going to make it and put some separation between himself and the rest.
Listen to this track (Marco Polo on the beat) and stay tuned for more from M.A. Cee Kings in August. I will be featuring a track from him every Friday of this month.
M-Dot – Detour (Produced By Whatson) (Video)
M-Dot is the consummate world traveller and while he is out and about he is making memorable music for you. This song will be featured on the producer, Whatson’s forthcoming album.
Again, there are very few emcees on his level right now. Enjoy…
Double A.B. & Dub Sonata – Lord Knows What (ft Roc Marciano) (Official Video)
It’s good to hear Double AB making some more music. I’ve been a fan of his since i first heard the cut, Mr. Belvedere. He’s a dope rhymer with great story telling ability. I am anxious to hear his collaborative album with Dub Sonata. Should be dope…
The Audible Doctor – Success (Part 1) (ft. Chaundon) (Video)
In terms of all around talent, The Audible Doctor, has got to be in the conversation. The man can produce and he can rock the mic properly. When you tag team up with one of the most personable emcees in the game, Chaundon, you have gold my friends…
I certify this record…
Ruste Juxx & The Arcitype – Rock to the Rhythm (Video)
Not too many rappers have been busier than Ruste Juxx over the last couple of years. This particular joint is hype. I love the production. This type of track reminds you why you live hip hop music.
Ruste Juxx and Arcitype have an album dropping on September 25th entitled, V.I.C.
Serge Severe – 107.1 Live *Pt.1* (Video)
I usually don’t put up videos of the promotional sort but Severe goes in with these bars so I felt it worth sharing. You need to pick up his new EP, Silver Novelist if you have not already done so.
