Evidentially Creative Juices will be the label Junior Makhno will utilize to drop his next mixtape and first studio album. I am familiar with some Makhno tracks and know he fits the mold of what CJM is known for. Which is putting out no frills boom bap. Here’s the first single from the project. The descending vocal sample over those drums is the crem de la creme.
Single You Out: The Audible Doctor – F.U.B.U. (ft. Von Pea) (prod. marink)
I quickly played this song a couple of days ago. I liked it but I didn’t really sit and listen to the lyricism on this joint. The Audible Doctor is more known for his production perhaps but he has a really nice flow and what he speaks on during this track is relavent and prevalent. If everyone asks for a free album, T-Shirt, or ticket for a show, who will be left to support?
I can see this track becoming an anthem of sorts…
The project, Think That… drops on September 25th.

Single You Out: Pause Beats – Mo Pay (ft. Kaimbr)
Producer, Pause Beats partners with Kaimbr (aka Al Green) for this single off of his yet to be titled album dropping later this year. He may not have a title or a release date, but he does have a dope lead off track on his hands. And people are not to forget how ill Kaimbr is on the mic.

Critical – Quarantine (2012)
Artist: Critical
Album: Quarantine
Source: Creative Juices Music
Tracklisting:
1. Wreckage
2. Glidin’ (ft. Tzarizm)
3. Time Flies
4. A Vibe Called Stress (ft. Tzarizm)
5. Menace To Sobriety (ft. Madness)
6. The Difference
Note:
More than not, talented hip hop acts get buried under the bulk of “hip hop” music getting made these days. Case in point, a guy like Critical, who has been making dope music for years, can fly underneath the radar while other less talented folks (who will remain unmentioned) get all of the shine. Well, hopefully his most current release, Quarantine, will change all of that.
Kap Kallous – Give Me A Reason (Video)
Kap Kallous. That man’s effort in this game is relentless. He hits the masses up constantly with music. And what makes it better is that it’s actually, good music.
Single You Out: Bullet To Nowhere – Lo-Fi
This is the first feature on HHD for Bullet To Nowhere. I really am enjoying the laid back vibe of the track and the emcees’ deliveries just sound really easy over the beat. Something to vibe to. They have an album coming out in November entitled, Am I Cool Yet?
Illogic & Blockhead- Poster Boy (Video)
This is my favorite track off of the duo’s Preparing For Capture EP. It’s an excellent project that everyone should be checking out. The lyricism shown here is on par with anything else you will hear this year.
Single You Out: DUB MD – The Requiem ( Featuring: Vandalyzm x Substantial x K-SISE x Kel Spencer)

It needs to be said, Dub MD does a lot for hip hop and independent hip hop artists. Now that we have that out of the way, this is a dope cut produced by Black Bethoven. The cut features dope emcees scattered from across the land. It really is a top choice track from what seems to be a top choice project. The Requiem EP is slated to drop either this month or next.

Single You Out: The 17th -Rubbish Ft. Spoke In Wordz & Fokis
Vanderslice got the keys moving on this joint. A very uptempo production is the blueprint for the emcees’ onslaught on the bullshit music industry. I also am quite fond of the word…rubbish…definitely listen to this if you are looking to nod your head.
Single You Out: Substantial – Check My Resume (prod. Oddisee)

New Substantial on the way and if the entire project sounds remotely as good as this Oddisee produced gem, we will be treated to a great album. Home Is Where The Art Is drops on September 4th.
