I somehow missed this track from Snak the Ripper last month but it needs to be posted because this guy keeps crankin’ out that relatable music. I haven’t heard a less than dope track from the Ripper…well ever. This guy knows what the aim is and he crafts his art, his way, to support his people.
It gets no realer.
Souslicers are back at it again and cranking out some new productions. This particular joint has a laid back vibe to it but the rhyme from Sparkingtin are aggressive. I missed these artists. Sparkingtin and Souslicers were a good combination a number of years ago, and they still prove to be an ill collaborative. D. Gotti contributes the chorus, rounding out the song.
Apparently, Soulslicers have a new album dropping soon, and I can’t wait to hear it.
We’ve talked about it before, but let’s make mention of it again: PremRock is clearly an innovator when it comes to making hip hop music. His lyricism is slick, crafty, and has a tendency to get those synapses firing in that brain of yours.
His new project with Fresh Kils, Poet’s Payday, is an extension of the previous comment. This project again illustrates that creativity that we all love. Fresh Kils cooks up a delicious avant garde production, while billy woods adds his own innovations via a complimentary sixteen.
I am sure that hip hop lovers of all ilks will love this track and the project as a whole.
It’s time for Lil Fame to drop a solo project. The forthcoming project is called, Walk Of Fame. I think we will all be anticipating one of the hardest projects of 2018 when the album drops, and this lead single is ample indication of just that. I love this beat coupled with Fame’s one of a kind flow.
Two independent hip hop icons link up when Snowgoons and Cunninlynguists unite for the cut I Walk Alone. The vibe of the track is very soulful and also a very fitting joint for the ‘lynguists to rock over. It’s a very appropriate joint to utilize as the first single for the Snowgoons’ upcoming project, Black Snow 2.0.

Swollen Members are back together and making music. This is good news for hip hop fans. There are few emcees that have developed the chemistry that is exhibited between MadChild and Prevail. Aspect is on the production.

Shabaam Sahdeeq and producer Pete Twist take the hip hop masses to church on this new single, Bars. The production packs some extra punch for Sahdeeq’s ‘timeless’ lyricism. The man delivers lyrical punches consistent and in a fury. Few have done it for longer and as consistently dope as he has. Hence the title of his recently release project, Timeless of the Collection.
Taboo is back with the fifth part of our ten part series, this time going in on his writing process and how he constructs his bars. The man is just so gifted as a writer. He has the ability to make you think, set the mind adrift, and get you contemplating. He also has the penchant for just delivering you raw and unfettered destruction.
